I’m a scientist drawn to the possibilities of reprogramming biological systems to treat disease. My research centers on engineering viruses to act as a cancer therapy, exploring how they interact with the immune system and how an individual’s history can shape treatment outcomes. I work at the intersection of virology, immunology, and theoretical biology, with experience across labs in India, Europe and South America.
Beyond the lab, I’m passionate about making science accessible and inclusive. Here, you will find short articles, my reflections on research challenges, and highlights on interdisciplinary projects in synthetic biology. I also share outreach work, mentoring, and science education, that connect research with broader communities.
